Well the dealer insists that my Blaupunkt Business CD radio head from my 2002 Z3 serial number BP027319958100 is an Alpine and the only code they have for it is 32312. Not to worry, you just won't be able to us the radio for a day or two.
They can fax the factory with your car vin number and radio serial number and get you the code. I really can't believe a dealer would sell a car without this critical information! I had no idea I needed it, yet they knew and ignored it. What would they have done if a service required the battery be disconnected?
